Our Story

Our Story

DigiTribe is a project by Creative Active Lives CIC, a not-for-profit community organisation based in the West Midlands. We started out running MineMania, a Community Minecraft Server, inclusive family play sessions and creative digital clubs for children who didn’t always confident or comfortable in mainstream youth settings.

As those sessions grew, we saw how many neurodivergent young people were missing out on opportunities to learn, socialise, and thrive. That’s when DigiTribe was born – first as online clubs in Minecraft, Roblox and music, then expanding into in-person groups and now our very own hub on Halesowen High Street.

The hub gives us a welcoming, visible space for young people to come together, build skills, and feel part of a like-minded community.

Our Purpose

Our mission is simple: to create safe, inclusive spaces where neurodivergent children and young people can learn, play, and grow in their own way and at their own pace.

We do this through digital creativity, gaming, music, arts, and peer-led activities. Everything we run is designed to build confidence, friendships, and life skills for young people who are often excluded from other opportunities.

Our Values

Come as you are Ethos

We’re all about making sure everyone feels included and valued, just the way they are.

A Place to Belong

We create spaces where people feel at home, supported, and free to be themselves.

Innovation

Innovation

We seek out and embrace new ideas and ways of doing things, keeping us creative and forward-looking and allowing our members to try new experiences.

Raising Aspirations

We’re here to support and encourage young people to reach their potential.  Giving them tools and opportunities, reassurance and support to identify and achieve their goals.

The Power of Play

We believe in the power of play to bring people of all ages from different backgrounds together, spark creativity, and change lives.
